light bodied wines and we are proud to import these almost forgotten varietals that are windows in to Argentina’s wine history
Sleek and concentrated
Aromas of dried lemons
cranberry and fresh raspberry coulis up front on a silky
but the wine's intensity is delicately measured against its streamlined texture
2017 | Dominio de Atauta Valdegatiles | Ribera del Duero Agricola Ridolfi light bodied wines and weValdegatilles is the lowest of Dominio de Atauta's vineyard focused wines, although it's still located at a pretty elevated 930 metres. North facing and entirely clay based, it's often the most backward of the bodega's red, with a low pH and the concentration and acidity to age. Grippy, focused and tight, with sturdy tannins, lots of concentration and layers of damson, blueberry and wet earth. 96 Pts Tim Atkin
